Jon and Abby both attended the University of Richmond. Their paths did not cross, however, until August 2019 when Abby followed Jon on Instagram and Jon proceeded to slide into Abby's DMs. As the saying goes, the rest is history. They spent the next three years of their relationship in D.C., a city that will always hold a special place in their hearts. In 2022, after Abby graduated from law school and Jon from business school, they moved to Boston to be closer to family and begin new careers. Over the past three years they have fallen in love with Boston's quaint and historic charm, enjoying evening walks in the Back Bay neighborhood and frequent dinners at Franklin Cafe.

On September 23, 2023, Jon proposed in Abby's hometown of Norwich, Vermont. They cannot wait to welcome all of their favorite people, to their favorite place, during their favorite season in October 2025 for their wedding.
